Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NutriPilot mobile app and website (the "Service"), operated by Tinychef Inc. ("NutriPilot," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use NutriPilot

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Not medical advice

NutriPilot is a wellness and informational tool, not a medical service. GutScore, NutriAge, nudges, and any content in the Service are for general informational purposes only and are estimates, not diagnoses. NutriAge is not a medical biological-age test. NutriPilot does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, or health regimen, and never disregard professional advice because of something in the Service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at sales@tinychef.ai if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time (see Delete account).

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the meals, photos, voice recordings, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and analyze Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service — including sending it to our AI processors to read your meals and compute your scores, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to submit it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service unlawfully or to harm others;
Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our models, data, or source code except as permitted by law;
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security;
Misrepresent your identity or submit content that infringes others' rights.

6. Free service, future paid plans

NutriPilot is free to use at launch. We may introduce paid plans or features in the future. If we do, pricing and billing terms will be disclosed before you are charged, and purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to that store's terms.

7. Promotions & the 30-day challenge

From time to time we run promotions, such as the 30-day logging challenge with a draw for YogiFi smart mats. Specific promotion rules (eligibility, entry, odds, prize details, and any regional restrictions) are provided with each promotion and form part of these Terms for participants. No purchase is necessary to enter where required by law. Void where prohibited.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including NutriPilot, GutScore, NutriAge, our software, designs, and brand, is owned by Tinychef Inc. and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (e.g., Apple, Google, our AI and infrastructure providers, and — if you opt in to a future feature — wearable and health integrations via Terra). Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that scores or estimates are accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tinychef Inc. and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or CAD $50.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tinychef Inc. from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., 4–12, 14) survive termination.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts located in Ontario will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your place of residence.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
